Chiffon is filed here as sheer woven. One reason to open it is fluid sheer for overlays and occasion dresses. One reason to sample is seam and fray behaviour need care.
Judge soft together with construction. Very soft cloths may crease more or lose crisp structure needed for formal shirts.
What not to assume
A soft filter does not certify the cloth. dresses, overlays, scarves are common places buyers test chiffon, and some of those garments will reject this attribute.
