Satin is filed here as satin weave. One reason to open it is smooth hand for linings and dresses. One reason to sample is not automatically ‘silk’ — read composition.
Judge soft together with construction. Very soft cloths may crease more or lose crisp structure needed for formal shirts.
What not to assume
A soft filter does not certify the cloth. dresses, linings, blouses are common places buyers test satin, and some of those garments will reject this attribute.
