Wool is filed here as protein fibre. One reason to open it is structure for tailoring and coats. One reason to sample is stretch claims must appear on the fabric record.
Judge soft together with construction. Very soft cloths may crease more or lose crisp structure needed for formal shirts.
What not to assume
A soft filter does not certify the cloth. suits, jackets, coats are common places buyers test wool, and some of those garments will reject this attribute.
