Woven velvet on the marketplace
Woven velvet is a construction decision. The fibre name does not tell you whether the cloth is stable or looped.
Start with construction
woven cloth interlaces warp and weft, so it is usually more stable. Velvet can still be made the other way.
Velvet is filed here as pile. One reason to open it is works in apparel and selected interiors when specified correctly. One reason to sample is directional nap affects cutting.

Ask whether this velvet card is actually woven. If the page names a different construction, it is a different search.
