How to use the band
A light apparel band. A poplin and a jersey can share it and still be different cloths.
For coats, the brief needs weight compatible with wear time. A useful hand note is density or technical performance.
What still matters more
Compare GSM only inside one construction. Meltons, dense wools, technical outerwear constructions and selected double-face cloths lead.
