GSM and weight
Weight notes for planning a marketplace search. GSM bands are planning ranges, not a quality score and not a promise that every cloth publishes that number.

How to use this list
Weight notes for planning a marketplace search. GSM bands are planning ranges, not a quality score and not a promise that every cloth publishes that number.
Each title in GSM and weight is a separate search question. Start with Selecting shirts fabric under 100 gsm only when that heading matches the brief you already have.
Open the note, then return to the marketplace to see published fabrics. A topic page is not a product, not a second catalog, and not a place to inquire.
Filtered marketplace URLs stay noindex. Share either https://fabstitch.net/marketplace/ or a specific fabric page.
What gsm and weight is for
GSM and weight groups related marketplace questions so a buyer can pick one intent instead of mixing fibre, garment, and weight on the same search.
This directory currently lists 90 notes, including Selecting shirts fabric under 100 gsm, Selecting shirts fabric 100 to 150 gsm, Selecting shirts fabric 150 to 200 gsm, and others below.
If two titles look similar, keep the one that names the decision you still have to make. Then open a fabric page before you write a quantity.
How these notes relate to buying
FabStitch's commercial path is fabric → quantity → inquiry. Topic hubs explain the question that led you here; they do not replace the fabric page or invent a supplier directory.
After you pick a note, compare two published fabrics and inquire with metres. Do not paste a filter URL into an RFQ and expect it to behave like a product specification.
When a note and a collection hub cover the same fibre family, prefer the collection for browsing inventory and the note for clarifying the decision you still have to make.
Questions
- Do these pages replace the marketplace?
