Selecting trousers fabric under 100 gsm
under 100 GSM is a planning band for trousers. It is not a score, and it is not evidence that a FabStitch fabric publishes that exact number.

How to use the band
Very light cloth. Opacity and lining come before fibre branding.
For trousers, the brief needs durable seam performance. A useful hand note is appropriate denseness.
What still matters more
Compare GSM only inside one construction. Twills, denser plains, wool suitings, linen blends and selected stretch wovens dominate.
If the fabric page omits weight, leave the cell blank and ask in the inquiry.

Questions
- Does under 100 GSM mean better trousers?
- No. Heavier is not better. It is only heavier.
