Selecting knitwear fabric 100 to 150 gsm
100 to 150 GSM is a planning band for knitwear. It is not a score, and it is not evidence that a FabStitch fabric publishes that exact number.

How to use the band
A light apparel band. A poplin and a jersey can share it and still be different cloths.
For knitwear, the brief needs dimensional stability. A useful hand note is stable loop structure.
What still matters more
Compare GSM only inside one construction. Jersey, interlock, pointelle and related knits.
If the fabric page omits weight, leave the cell blank and ask in the inquiry.

- Does 100 to 150 GSM mean better knitwear?
- No. Heavier is not better. It is only heavier.
