under 100 GSM is a planning band for coats. It is not a score, and it is not evidence that a FabStitch fabric publishes that exact number.
How to use the band
Very light cloth. Opacity and lining come before fibre branding.
For coats, the brief needs durable face. A useful hand note is density or technical performance.
What still matters more
Compare GSM only inside one construction. Meltons, dense wools, technical outerwear constructions and selected double-face cloths lead.
