Selecting outerwear fabric under 100 gsm
under 100 GSM is a planning band for outerwear. It is not a score, and it is not evidence that a FabStitch fabric publishes that exact number.

How to use the band
Very light cloth. Opacity and lining come before fibre branding.
For outerwear, the brief needs compatible insulation or lining plan. A useful hand note is season-right weight.
What still matters more
Compare GSM only inside one construction. Technical shells, dense wools and selected performance constructions.
If the fabric page omits weight, leave the cell blank and ask in the inquiry.

Questions
- Does under 100 GSM mean better outerwear?
- No. Heavier is not better. It is only heavier.
