Crepe is filed here as textured woven. One reason to open it is good movement without high shine. One reason to sample is do not assume silk crepe behaviour for all crepes.
Judge opaque together with construction. Higher opacity can add weight or reduce breathability.
What not to assume
A opaque filter does not certify the cloth. dresses, blouses, trousers are common places buyers test crepe, and some of those garments will reject this attribute.
